Points & Rewards FAQ
Everything you need to know about earning points, collecting medals, and building your Wagmi rewards. These answers mirror the logic that powers the leaderboard, streak jobs, and daily reward automations.
Points Basics
Back to topHow do Wagmi points work?
Every award creates a points grant that counts toward your profile and leaderboard total. Grants come from event NFT mints, weekly and monthly challenges, habit completions, streak milestones, team events, welcome bonuses, and more.
Every new point also earns one medal. Points show progress and ranking, while medals are your persistent reward balance.
Do medals expire?
No. Medals do not expire, even when leaderboard rules change or a season rolls over.
Your medal balance is private to you and is designed to be traded for health-related items, rewards, unlocks, and future purchases.
How do medals work?
Every new point grant also earns the same number of medals. If you earn 20 points, your medal balance increases by 20.
Your private medal balance can be spent in the medal shop on health-related items. Shop prices come from active catalog items, so purchases spend the server-verified cost instead of trusting a client-entered amount.
What is the Welcome bucket and why is it capped at 200?
Welcome is a once-per-account boost that gets everyone started. We only grant it if you have never received Welcome before, and the leaderboard caps its contribution so the early boost does not dominate the board.
Consistency & Streaks
Back to topHow do micro awards work each week or month?
Verified weekly challenges, monthly challenges, posting streaks, and habit completions add smaller point grants between major milestones. Each grant also adds the same number of medals.
How are weekly challenge streak tiers granted?
Complete weekly challenges four weeks in a row and you unlock Bronze (+100). Keep pushing and Silver (+200), Gold (+300), and Diamond (+600) follow at 12, 24, and 52 weeks. We check streaks every morning and add the milestone bucket automatically. If you blow past Diamond, the streak keeps looping—Bronze, Silver, Gold, Diamond—so there is always another target.
How are monthly challenge streak tiers granted?
Log a verified monthly challenge and we mark that month on your streak tracker. Hit 3, 6, 9, or 12 months in a row and we celebrate with Bronze (+200), Silver (+300), Gold (+400), or Diamond (+500). Submit at least one monthly challenge each calendar month to keep the combo alive.
What about weekly posting streaks?
Share something on five different MT days in a week and we mark that as a posting win. You get a smaller point and medal grant plus streak milestones at 4, 12, 24, and 52 weeks—perfect for keeping the community feed buzzing.
Events & Challenges
Back to topHow do event NFT mints award points?
Approved lab or performance submissions can mint an NFT at Green (+10), Bronze (+20), Silver (+30), or Gold (+40). Minting is totally optional—the points land either way—but it is a fun way to commemorate your progress. Every new level only adds the difference from your previous best (Silver → Gold adds +10).
How many points do weekly challenges award?
A verified challenge completion grants points and the same number of medals. Streak tiers stack on top whenever you cross 4/12/24/52 completed weeks in a row.
How many points do monthly challenges award?
Every verified monthly challenge grants points and medals. Streak milestone tiers add larger grants when you keep the consecutive-month streak alive.
Do I need a wallet connected to earn rewards?
No. Points and medals accrue in the app without a connected wallet. If a future reward requires a wallet or shipping detail, we will ask for that only when it is needed.
Teams & Bonuses
Back to topWhat do team challenges award?
When a team challenge is marked complete, every teammate receives points and medals. We leave the challenge details inside the grant so you always know which crew effort earned the boost.
What about set-completion bonuses?
Set bonuses reward completing an entire tier of events. Upgrading a set adds the difference from your previous tier rather than stacking duplicate grants.
Leaderboard & Seasons
Back to topHow is the live leaderboard calculated?
Behind the scenes we add up your point grants and display the current total next to your profile. No secret multipliers—just the work you put in, refreshed constantly.
Why can a snapshot differ from the live view?
Snapshots are historical records. The live view can differ because new awards, profile updates, and verification jobs can land after a snapshot is taken.
What happens when a new season starts?
We reset NFT mint eligibility each year so you can earn event NFTs again. Your medal history stays with you, and eligible point grants continue to support your profile and leaderboard history.
Need a hand?
DM @wagmihealth on Twitter or Instagram with the award name, when it was earned, and any screenshots you have. We’ll take a look and make sure your points reflect the work you put in.
